deborah sams & mary lou ryan, established bassike together in 2006 with a vision to create luxurious and wearable everyday pieces with a design pedigree that allow them to work in a structured wardrobe just as well as with a pair of trainers.

this vision formed the framework for the very first bassike collection; a considered edit of certified organic cotton jersey t.shirts & pants made locally in australia. the collection received wide acclaim with the brand becoming one-to-watch both locally & globally. in 2006, bassike launched the original collection of organic cotton jersey before introducing bassike denim in 2007, & in 2008 seasonal womens and mens mainline collections became a mainstay of the bassike brand.

today bassike has grown to become one of australia’s leading fashion brands with a digital flagship and a retail portfolio of eight bricks & mortar stores located across new south wales, queensland and victoria in australia. bassike is also represented in over sixty independent retail locations around the world.
